The perfect next step for blossoming new quilters.
This guided quilt-a-long will continue to build quilt-making confidence, expand your patchwork and quilting skills, introduce you to more useful sewing techniques and help you to create another beautiful patchwork quilt.
You’ll make your own unique Airspace Quilt using my pattern and learn how to make ‘flying geese’ - a classic and versatile patchwork triangle shape, found in thousands of modern and traditional quilt pattern designs.
You can choose which size of quilt to make (baby, small throw or large throw) with your personal choice of fabrics, wadding and preferred basting tools.
We’ll get together for five in-person classes, at key points in the making process, so we can learn and sew together. There will be patchwork piecing and quilting work to do from home in between classes. I will support you throughout with guidance, notes, resources and encouragement.
Together, we’ll make more modern family heirlooms to be treasured forever.
This course is ideal for anyone who has learnt to quilt on one of my beginners courses, or similar, ideally with some experience of making half-square triangles (HSTs). If you’re not sure whether this is the right course for you, please contact me first so that we can think it through together.
In case you need to avoid any animal allergens, please note that we have guinea pigs at home.
