Sewcials are perfect for quilters who want to stitch and create with the encouragement and friendship of people who just get it. You’re welcome to join me and a small gathering of friendly local quilters, here at my cosy home-studio in the beautiful countryside of East Leicestershire or at a quiet but central location in Leicester city centre with free on-site parking. We get together regularly to make progress on your choice of patchwork quilting projects, connect with one another and get away from it all.
“A heartfelt thank you for Saturday’s Sewcial. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. So good to work alongside other quilters!”
“Thank you so much for today, it was just what I needed and I feel so revived from the sewing and the socialising.”
Cowden Quilt School is based in Kings Norton LE7, East Leicestershire. My home-from-home studio is close to Great Glen, Billesdon and Houghton-On-The-Hill. We’re a short drive from the border with Rutland and 20-25 mins from Leicester, Market Harborough and Melton Mowbray.
I also host ‘city sewcials’ in Leicester City Centre at a venue with private parking and easy access by public transport.
Sewcials include use of my Janome M100QDC sewing machines and quilting equipment (mats, rulers, rotary cutters etc) or you’re welcome to bring your own. Bottomless tea/coffee and homemade treats are also included!
