I also teach a regular in-person course for beginners from my home-studio in Hungarton (which is close to Thurmaston, Scraptoft and Rutland). You’ll learn everything you need to know to start making your own patchwork quilts. You’ll put your new skills into practice to create a quilt measuring about 42”x42” which is the perfect size to use as a cot quilt, playmat, small throw or picnic blanket.
Join my next beginners course at the Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester City Centre, starting in May 2024. This brand-new introduction to patchwork and quilting course will guide you through every step of the process to make your first patchwork quilted project, which you'll turn into a cushion cover. You'll learn everything you need to know to make patchwork quilts of any size.
