Learn to quilt

Join a workshop and learn how to make your own patchwork quilts.

With my tuition and guidance, you’ll learn new skills, grow in creative confidence and meet like-minded people, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Workshops take place in Leicester, at my home studio in East Leicestershire or online from wherever you are.

Classes & Events

My patchwork and quilting are available to browse and book here, with all the dates and details you need. For any questions about my quilting classes, to book 1:1 lessons or to invite me to teach patchwork and quilting from your venue, please send me an email.

From time to time, I host special events like a quilting retreat or teach classes for beginners from other great venues like the Attenborough Arts Centre in Leicester City Centre. Some of these special quilting courses and events are featured below so take a look at what’s coming up soon.

I’ll be teaching regularly at the University of Leicester’s public arts centre during the 2022 autumn term, including:

Modern patchwork & quilting for beginners course
Mondays 26 September, 10 October, 24 October and 14 November 2022
10am - 2.30pm each day

Patchwork Christmas stocking workshops

Rutland Open Studios Art Trail 2022

I’m opening my home-studio as part of this year’s art trail and you’re invited!

Rutland Open Studios is a flourishing community of artists, crafts people and designer-makers working throughout Rutland and surrounding counties. We’re opening our studios and creative spaces to the public in September to to give an insight into the creative processes involved in making art and hand-crafted objects.

My Cowden Quilt School home-studio and workshop space will be open:

Saturday 10 September 10am - 4pm and Sunday 25 September 10am - 2pm
Ashby House Farm, Church Lane, Hungarton, Leicestershire LE7 9JX.
