I love to take my workshops on the road to special locations
If you’d like to host a workshop for your visitors, students, clients or friends please contact me to find out how I can help. Here are some examples of recent workshops on location in Kent and Sussex. From September 2019 I will be located in Leicestershire and would love to bring my workshops to new locations in the East Midlands.
Tonbridge Creates, Pop-up
In the run-up to Christmas 2018 I took part in a brilliant local pop-up event in Tonbridge. We spent the day creating patchwork quilted Christmas stockings with fabric scraps. We added lining and a handing loop for a really lovely finish. I also made some limited edition stocking for sale in the pop-up shop.
Pincushion, pantiles, Tunbridge Wells
I was delighted to be hosted by a new, local patchwork and quilting shop in November December 2018 and again in January/February 2019. Both courses were sold out with lovely new quilters who finished the courses with beautiful work, new skills and an obsession with patchwork and quilting!
National Trust, Knole, Sevenoaks
In the Spring of 2018 I was invited by the National Trust to teach my two-day beginners patchwork and quilting workshop from beautiful Knole. The workshops took place in the Hayloft Learning Centre - an inspiring space in a beautifully restored 17th century hayloft, adjacent to Knole house.
