However you got started with quilting, I can help you to keep it up and learn more
Keep quilting with my support and in the company of a small group of other new quilters.
Drop-in and sew
Whatever you're working on, bring it along to one of my "finishing school" sessions and sew with company. We meet on the last Friday morning of the month here in Cowden with plenty of tea, coffee and homemade bakes to keep you going. Click below for dates, details and to book.
This spring/summer I'm guiding a small group of new quilters to make a throw-size patchwork quilt, using my adaptation of a free pattern. We're having such a good time that I would love to run another quilt-a-long during the autumn term. Dates and details are coming soon and, in the meantime, click below to let me know if you're interested in joining us.
My quilt-a-long is guided rather than taught and assumes some basic knowledge of modern patchwork and quilting techniques. It's an ideal follow-on course for anyone who has taken part in my two-day beginners patchwork and quilting workshops or has equivalent experience.
You can choose to sew by hand, machine or a combination of both and you'll need to bring your own choice of fabrics and wadding. We meet several times at key points in the making process and you can work at your own pace between those dates.
