However you got started with patchwork and quilting, I can help you to keep creating and learn more
Whatever you're working on, bring it along to the next monthly ‘quilt club’ session and enjoy:
* sewing with company
* full use of my sewing machines and equipment
* refreshments including home-bakes; and
* as much of my help and guidance as you need.
We meet on the second Friday morning of the month here in Cowden from 10am to 2pm. Click below for dates and to book.
Several times a year, I guide a small group of new quilters to make a throw-size patchwork quilt, using my adaptation of a free pattern.
My quilt-a-long is guided, rather than taught, and assumes some knowledge of modern patchwork and quilting techniques. It's an ideal follow-on course for anyone who has taken part in my two-day beginners patchwork and quilting workshops or has similar experience.
You can choose to sew by hand, machine or a combination of both and you'll need to bring your own choice of fabrics and wadding. We meet several times at key points in the making process and you can work at your own pace between those dates.
The next guided quilt-a-long for brand new quilters will start in the early Spring of 2019. A new guided quilt-a-long for more experienced new quilters will launch earlier in the new year. Click the button below if you’d like me to send details to you once they are ready to share.
